I use a hook in my writing so people go wow and want to read my story.  For my story about my lava lamp, I used onomatopoeia to make my reader interested.  I thought it was tricky was someone bothered me all the time because he is my friend.  My next step is to think of good wow words.

I found this activity hard because it was hard to count by fives and tens and twos. I enjoyed counting the numbers. My next step with skip counting is to get better at skip counting in tens.

I found it tricky finding some verbs to put it my poem. I enjoyed finding a simile for my diamante poem. My next step is to get better at spelling my words.
